We Process Pine Logs and Lumber in Planá nad Lužnicí

Pila Pasák a.s. has operated the sawmill in Planá nad Lužnicí since 1998, continuing the activities of Pasák spol. s r.o., which was established in 1994.

We process pine logs and lumber. Our annual cut is 15,000 m³ of debarked pine logs. Half of the lumber we produce is further processed in our joinery production, while the remaining half is sold directly. We supply 80% of our goods to the domestic market and fulfil the remaining 20% through foreign contracts.

How We Work

We Dry and Further Process Lumber in Our Own Facilities

The lumber selected for joinery production is dried in our own kilns. From the dried lumber, we produce different types of boards, flooring and fences. We always aim to accommodate our customers and meet their requirements within our production capabilities.

We Process Pine Lumber

We process debarked pine logs and produce lumber for direct sale and further manufacturing.

We Produce Wood Pellets

We operate a modern pellet mill on our premises. We press spruce sawdust and shavings from our planing and log-cutting operations into high-quality ENplus A1 wood pellets under Company ID CZ 023.

Our New Pellet Mill

We Turn Our Spruce Sawdust and Shavings into ENplus A1 Wood Pellets

We have put a modern pellet mill into operation at our production site. Alongside planed material, lumber and pallet manufacturing, we now produce our own certified wood pellets.

Pellet production allows us to make full use of the spruce sawdust and shavings created when we plane timber and cut logs at the sawmill. We press these clean wood co-products into high-quality ecological pellets that meet ENplus A1 certification under Company ID CZ 023.

What does Pila Pasák a.s. process and supply?
